Read. Learn. Help Someone.

The Literacy Council served over 1,500 adults and children of Burke County through literacy programs during our 2018-2019 program year. The Literacy Council also provided over 5,000 new books to families in Burke County during the past year. Our mission is to teach adults and their families to read and/or improve their literacy skills and to instill in all those served a commitment to life-long learning. There are numerous ways to donate to Burke Literacy Council's mission.
