Through our partnership with Hannah’s Wash, Dry,  Fold, families can enjoy a cozy Little Library corner while they wait—turning everyday moments into meaningful learning experiences.

Located in both Morganton and Valdese, these welcoming spaces invite children and families to read, explore, and connect through books while doing laundry.

Part of a growing national movement, the Laundromat Literacy Program brings learning into everyday places—transforming waiting time into reading time. This simple but powerful idea helps build language skills, spark imagination, and encourage a lifelong love of books (and even book ownership!).

Because learning doesn’t just happen in classrooms…

it can happen anywhere—even while the laundry spins.
